Our family taps thousands of maple trees and manages hundreds of honey bee colonies producing incredibly rich and indulgent organic maple syrup and a Vermont wildflower honey that is unlike anything available in the grocery store. Winner of a 2021 Good Food Award, the unique flavor of this rich Vermont wildflower honey is the product of the location of Republic of Vermont’s honey bees and the particular variety of plants and flowers those bees visit. This honey has never been heated to preserve its true flavor and natural enzymes and the honey bees are managed without the use of toxic chemicals. Every drop of raw honey is extracted, filtered and bottled by hand in Republic of Vermont’s family run mountain honey house. Vermont Raw Honey is the crown jewel of these bee’s efforts!
A note on raw honey:
Our honey has never been heated which means it crystallizes over time. This thickening of the honey is completely natural and does not mean the honey has gone bad. You can enjoy it crystalized or place it in warm water to gentle return it to liquid form.
